It's the first Saturday of the month and time for Gruffies and Guests Challenge #6!
This month's theme is to create a card that has some patchwork (quilt-style) card. As always, the Gruffies and Guests challenges are anything goes with the option of using the theme; however, you do need to use a House Mouse, Gruffies, or Happy Hoppers stamp as part of your creation.
For my card, I used the House Mouse stamp called Baby Blocks featuring Muzzy, Monica, Amanda, and Mudpie! The patchwork background was printed from the House Mouse Volume 1 Project CD. The ribbon and crocheted flower are from Stampin' Up and the die cut shapes are from the Stampin' Up Framelits Labels collection.
My daughter and her family are expecting a baby girl this month, June 19 is her due date. My card will be part of a welcoming gift for baby Bella Ann-Marie when she arrives!
The Gruffies and Guests sponsor this month is My Creative Classroom. When you enter your patchwork card over at Gruffies and Guests Challenge you will have an opportunity to win a MCC class from the sponsor!
You can find the challenge HERE.
