For my CAS card I used the Penny Black A Blizzard dies cutout using glitter cardstock.  The sentiment is from MFP New Year stamp set (retired) stamped using going gray ink.

Dies R Us Inspiration - Mitten Card

My card is on the Dies R Us Inspiration blog today!  I created a mitten shaped card using Impression Obsession Mitten die set.  The mitten texture was made using the Taylored Expressions Paisley embossing folder.

The CAS Challenge is to create a card using either gold or silver.  I chose to use gold.

I used gold metallic cardstock to die cut the ornaments.  The sentiment is from MFP.

HMFMC #256 - ATG or Christmas Challenge

The House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge #256 theme is anything goes or Christmas.

For my card, I used the House Mouse Designs Elf Gifts and the sentiment is from Penny Black Snippets.  I used Spellbinders Grand Labels 4 to create a shaped card using cardstock from the Paper Studio Plaid paper stack for the cardbase.  The image was stamped on white cardstock and colored using Chameleon Colored Pencils and Gamsol.

For my card, I used the Snow Dudes image and die from Paper Smooches.  The snow hills are die cutfrom glitter cardstock using a PTI die.  Dotted patterned paper from my stash.

Paper A La Mode Challenge - Gatefold Card

This week's Paper A La Mode challenge is to create a gatefold card.

The challenge sponsor is QKRStampede Digi Stamps.

For my card, I used Christmas Cheer digi image provided by the sponsor.

The gatefold cardbase panels are layered using red gingham designer paper.  The image was colored using Chameleon Markers.  The candycane was colored using a red glitter pen.

For today's Coffee Lovers entry I created quick and easy using a coffee sticker from my stash, Pebbles, Inc. cardbase, and embellished using a double gingham bow.  I used a red glitter pen to color the little flowers.

The Sparkles Monthly Challenge #99

The Sparkles Monthly Challenge this month is to create a quickie Christmas card.

For my card, I created a watercolor wash background in blues; created another wash using green inks and die cut using a tree die from Little B Designs.  Adhered the tree die to the blue wash background and stamped the sentiment to create a quickie Christmas card.

2017 Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day 5

For today's Coffee Lovers Blog Hop I created a gift card holder using a tissue paper tube.

I covered the tube with a piece of designer paper, die cut the word coffee using a die from The Ton, the circles are from Memory Box dies, the image is To Go Cup from Amuse stamps.  A gift card fits perfectly into the opening of the holder.  The opening is secured using a piece of ribbon.

I used the Comfort to Go stamp set from Unity Stamp Company.  Stamped the image and sentiment using SU Marina Mist ink.  The die cut panel is Spellbinders A2 Polka Dots.  Embellished with a gingham double bow.

This week's CAS Challenge is to use something you've not used before.  For my card, I used the Lawn Fawn Yeti stamp set and matching dies...never been used until now!  The background snowflakes were stamped in pink using a snowflake stamp from Technique Tuesday.

For my card, I used the Joy to Go stamp set from Unity Stamp Co.  The cardstock is 100% Cotton Watercolor, stamped image using Black Archival Ink, watercolored using an aquabrush and Zig Pearlescent Watercolors.  I enjoy creating shaped cards using dies; for this card I used the Spellbinders Grand Label Four.

2017 Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day 1

Today begins the 2017 Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

For my card I used Coffee Cafe from Inkadinkado and the cup stamp and die from Latina Crafter One Cup at a Time.  The cardbase is from Pebbles, Inc., cardstock:  crumb cake and red.  Die is from Gina Marie Designs; coffee cup colored used Chameleon markers.  The felt holly embellishment is from Stampin Up.  I sponged Hero Arts Unicorn Pigment Ink around the image to soften the edges.

HMFMC # 255 Anything Goes OR Birthday in December!

I created my card for the House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge #255 Anything Goes or Birthday in December!

My grandson Delt was born on Christmas Day so when I created my card I had Delt in mind.  I used the House Mouse Wrapped and Ready stamp, stamped with Memento Black ink, colored the image using Chameleon markers, and die cut using Spellbinders Diamond Effects die, then adhered it to a green cardbase, embellished with a green gingham double bow.  I used a pencil eraser dabbed in blue ink to create a few subtle splatterings of "confetti or snow" on the background then sponged the background using light blue ink.
