Teacup Pin Cushion

This is a project I created to share with a virtual tea party group on SCS.  I LOVE creating stick pins and needed a place to display them!  Found the teacup at a local antique store and altered it somewhat with lace, small prima flowers, a styrofoam ball covered with pink satin and a lace overlay.

Life's Lessons from My Cat

I'm part of an Alphabet Challenge on Splitcoaststampers.  The letter this week is the letter C.  I was given a dare by DellsDani to create a card on a card!  The image is a digital image pre-colored from winkwinkink called Kitty Temptation.  Unfortunately, it is the last of the images I have as my "old" computer lost all its files and this digi was among those deleted and unable to be retrieved, and to top it off, winkwinkink is no longer in business.  Back to the card on a card dare...cardbase card has a smaller card mounted on it with the image and some "lessons from my cat" listed on the inside.  Here are those lessons (oh, and because I was put in the naughty corner for stealing Marion's donut, I made the lessons are only a little naughty in my book!)!

A cat always hits the litterbox.

You have a better chance of training a cat.

If you ask enough times, a cat may actually LISTEN to you.

You can de-claw a cat... try to get a guy to clip his toenails.

It's okay if a cat rubs up against your best friend.

A cat matures as it grows older.

Back hair on cats is cute.

It is legal in all states to neuter a cat.

Cats comfort you when you are sick.

When a cat sleeps all day it's natural, not annoying.

Unlike a man, a cat can fend for itself.

A cat is loyal.

"Meow" is never a lie.

They'll both stand outside your door and whine, but the cat will stop when it gets in.

A cat's friend is less likely to be annoying.

Cats are always cute.

The only thing a cat expects you to "put out" is food, water, and a clean litter box.

PTI Cards for Recent Swap

Cards created for PTI swap on SCS hosted by taclary (Tracie).   The butterfly card uses the negative die cutouts with basic gray paper behind both cutouts.  OOPS!  Forgot the photograph the pocket card insert.  The bookmark images were colored using ink and blender pen.  The icecream cone card is 4  1/4" square card; used the scallop edge die for bottom.
