The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge - Favorite Technique

The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge theme is "Favorite Technique."

For my technique I chose to create a card using alcohol inks and Yupo Paper.  I applied the ink to the Yupo using a foam brush rather than using the AI blending tool and felt application.  Using the foam brush I had a bit more control for creating the diagonal pattern.  I adhered the stitched die cut inked Yupo to a crumb cake card base.  Used CheeryLynn Designs Sunflower to die cut the flower and CheeryLynn Designs Fanciful Flourish vine.  Embellished the vine wih a ladybug button.

The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge - Birds, Bees, Butterflies

The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge theme is "Birds, Bees, Butterflies...use one or all three."

For my card, I created a pop out panel card.  The cardstock and designer paper, and sentiment and honeycomb die are from the July 2019 Bee Yourself Simon Says Stamp card kit.  The bird, bee, and butterfly are from Stampin Up Backyard Basics stamp set and matching dies.  Images colored using Copic markers then layered onto Sizzix Dotted Square die cuts.  Embellished with a triple loop black/white gingham bow.

SCS Crafters of Faith Challenge...

Details:

Scripture-Isaiah 40:31But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Challenge: Make a project that showcases strength that you have received from your faith. Or, something that you are not strong at, but are working to be better! It could be an image, a technique, style of card—anything you want to highlight.

For me, especially during the "stay at home" orders, I sometimes lose sight of the beautiy of the little things we have in life. That's an area I need to work on...I've not been out and about since mid-February!
