The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge - Anyhting Ocean/Beachy

For my card I used distress inks to smoosh the ink onto an acrylic block, then mist it and stamp it down onto watercolor paper.  Then ink up the Hero Arts Wave Background stamp and stamp it over the watercolored area.  Die cut using white cardstock for the Frantic Stamper Mermaid Tail and colored it with Copic markers.  Adhered the tail onto the edge of the waves after stamping the sentiment.  The sentiment is from the Frantic Stamper Deep Ocean stamp set.  Used a wet watercolor brush to create some "ocean" splatters.  Used Wink of Stella glitter pen to finish off the Ocean and on the Mermaid Tail.

We hope you'll share your ocean/beachy cards/projects with us at The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge.

The Sisterhood of Crafters - Ink It Up

For my card I created an inked panel using Distress Inks.  I smooshed the ink onto my craft mat, spritzed with water and dipped the watercolor paper into it.  Let it dry and then die cut it using a die from the Spellbinders Callista Rectangle Shadowbox die set.  The background was created using gold cardstock and an embossing folder.  The butterfly is from CheeryLynn Designs die.  The sentiment is from a Ranger Lettering stamp set.

We hope you'll share your "ink it up" cards with us at The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge.
