I "spruced" up a card I created in February by adding a burgandy flower made using the small die from the PTI Delightful Doilies die set. I die cut 4 of the small doilies, run each diecut through my crimper to breakdown the cardstock fibers. I then pulled each diecut apart making the 4 shapes into 8 shapes. This gives the cardstock a soft texture. The 8 shapes were layered, used paper piercer to poke a hole in center of the layers and inserted a small brad. The layers were then scrunched up around the brad and then pulled out to create the flower shape; an adhesive backed pearl was added to center of flower.
The flower was created to submit to the PTI Make It Monday project challenge to create a flower using a non floral die.
