It's the Fifth Tuesday Free For All with Anything Goes at Twisted Tuesday Challenges; the twist is to show us what you're working on! The challenge can be found here.
I've been working on a Mother's Day gift for my mother in law. It's a beaded letter opener (love making these!), a decorated gift box and matching card. The denim flowers were created from old jeans and the Tim Holtz Tattered Floral die.

Button Fairy
I'm creating Button Fairies and this is my first one! Creating them for a swap on SCS. This is totally out of my comfort zone, so had to try it! :) The "fairy wings" are a CheeryLynn butterfly die. Flat bottle cap holds the vintage "fairy face." Buttons threaded onto 24 gauge beading wire. The feathers behind the fairy face are from the Hobby Lobby bridal section.

MFP Simple Salutations Challenge 41 & House of Cards DT Call
I'm really enjoying the challenges presented at Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Co.!!
This card was created for the MFP SpeedyTV Simple Salutations Challenge 41. The challenge can be found here. The challenge is to create a one layer card...cardbase only, no other layers!
I stamped the flower from the SU Bordering Romance stamp set, colored it with Copic markers and a white gel pen dotted the center of each flower; the sentiment is from a 2011 MFP set called Floral Tea. The border is a MS border punch.
This CAS card is also for the House of Cards DT call.

2TC48 - Chocolate Buffet at Twisted Tuesday Challenges!
There's a Chocolate Buffet with a bit of a twist at Twisted Tuesday Challenges! Check it out here.
My chocolate favor ensemble was created using the Tie The Knot cricut cartridge. Both the card and box are from that cartridge. The rose is a Prima from my stash and I sprinkled it with fine glitter held in place with glue gloss, the center of the rose was highlighted with a Rose Red Copic marker, the butterflies are punches from Martha Stewart and were sprayed with Marshmallow Glimmer Mist, a tulle bow decorates the side of the cake box. I used a piece of packing tape behind the flourish on the notecard with the sticky side next to the flourish, then I burnished ultrafine glitter into it so it would have lots of sparkle. Pink gems were adhered to each butterfly. The notecard sentiment is a Stampabilities stamp.

Theme Challenge at Bugaboo: A Bugs Life
A Bugs Life is the theme at the Bugaboo Challenge Blog; you can find the challenge here.
My card image is from Bugaboo digi stamps called Ladybug Flower Pot. I colored the image using Prisma color pencils, blending stumps, and gamsol; the DP is from the My Minds Eye 6x6 paper pad called Dolled Up; the rolled flowers were created by cutting a square of DP, rounding the edges, then cutting in a spiral, rolling up and shaping the rolls with tweezers. Hiding in between the rolled flowers is a ladybug button! Other items used, adhesive pearls, MS trellis border punch, crop-a-dile stub corner punch, and the bug's spots were highlighted with black spica glitter pen. I used a stipple brush to highlight the image background.

The Pink Elephant - TPE194 Challenge
I LOVE spring and the gorgeous colors that comes with the season! I'm entering this card in the spring challenge at The Pink Elephant TPE194, found here.
My pink spring flower was created using the SU Fancy Flower Punch and 3 sizes of circle punches for the center. Sponged ink on the petals and adhered a large pearl into the center. Have I mentioned lately that pink is my favorite color?!
