The Serendipity Stamps Challenge #53 is to used Circles/Dots. For my card, I created a circle stencil and inked it using distress inks for the large circle, then stamped images from Serendipity Stamps Hollyhocks stamp and the sentiment is from Serendipity Stamps Relax stamp set. After stamping the hollyhocks I did a partial color image outline using Staedtler triplus fineliner pens. Finished the card by rounding the bottom corners and using part of the swiss dots embossing folder at the bottom edge of my CAS card.
I'm entering my card in the Serendipity Stamps Challenge #53 - Circles/Dots
This is so very sweet and pretty! Love the circle colors and the flower is beautiful! Hugs, Robin
ReplyDeleteYour circle is so pretty and I love this card. It was so nice to hear from you. I've been off the grid for a while to work on the house. Today I'm resting and taking a break and just visiting. I can't find my book yet with all my phone numbers in it but I wanted to see which day you are going to Heirloom, or if you are going. We will probably go on Sat. but I could go Sunday if that is better. I still want to meet you for lunch if we can. Just let me know.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card! I love your technique of outlining the lower part of the image so as not to interfere with the circle and verse - and your colors are a great combination! Thanks so much for playing in the Serendipity Stamps challenge!
ReplyDeleteOMGoodness! this card is really stunning! The colors you selected and the circle background do an amazing job of highlighting that beautiful flower!
