SWAT Challenge #77

It's Tuesday and time for another Sketch With a Twist Challenge at Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps, a Heinrich Co., on SpeedyTV.

Here's the sketch:

The Twist is to make it a thinking of you card.  Often, we just want to let someone know that we are thinking of them, especially during this time of the year.

For my card, I used the tree image from the MFP Bow Hunting stamp set and a sentiment from the MFP Chill in the Air stamp set.  I masked the bottom of the oval using torn paper and sponging the edges to create banks of snow; the bottom of the skyline was masked and the sky was sponged using distress ink.  The image and sentiment are stamped using Memento Black ink; the tree was colored using Copic markers.

We hope you'll play along with our challenge this week.  You can find the Sketch With a Twist Challenge HERE.

  1. The torn paper technique to create the hills is a great idea. I have used cut hills before...I like this much better. Lovely card.
