The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge - Where in the World...

The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge is to create a card or project showing something about the country and/or state in which you live.

By chance, I found this Greetings from Indiana stamp at CreekBank Creations while attending a craft retreat a couple months ago.  There you have it, I live in Indiana, the state bird is the Cardinal, the state flower is the Peony.  The stamp was inked using Memento Black ink, the Cardinal was die cut from a Tim Holtz die and colored using chameleon markers.  The background was stamped using the Penny Black Peony stamp, and the little "peony" was created using circle punches!  (I really like the way my card turned out!)

We hope you'll create and share a little something with us about where you live.  You can find The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge HERE.

  4. Hi, Vickie! I am not very far from you, since Grand Rapids is just a couple hours north of the Indiana border. I really love your card! Finding that Indiana stamp was fantastic for this challenge and your pretty cardinal and gorgeous peony (my personal favorite flower) just made the card pop. Thank you for your warm welcome! I look forward to working together on this fun challenge and getting to know everyone.
