Friends of Flourishes Vellum Challenge

Kren has challenged the Friends of Flourishes design team to create a project to include vellum.  For my card I used the  My Cup Runneth Over stamp set.  I stamped the coffee beans on Bristol cardstock and watercolored using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens; once dry I cut a vellum overlay to go on top of the coffee beans and used Flourishes Color Made Easy Walnut collection cardstock for the layering panel along with a strip of the cardstock over the vellum.  The sentiment was stamped onto the Bristol cardstock and die cut using a Frantic Stamper double fishtail banner.

  1. A very cute card, Vickie. I love that you used the coffee beans under the vellum. Your banner die is so perfect for your sentiment.

  2. Can I tell you how much I love this? I wish I had thought of it and made it myself. In fact, I might...just to have in my craft room!

  3. I really love how you used the coffee beans with the vellum. It softens the image but we still see it clearly. Lovely idea!
