I used the MFP Stamp Shop Island Life for the image and sentiment. I colored the image using Copic Markers. I used the paper tearing technique then sponged distress ink around the torn edges. The image panel was adhered to a rectangle of burlap and embellished using a small knotted piece of rope.

This is really pretty, I like the burlap and the knotted rope.

That tearing and inking techniques is one of my favs...I have actually done a tutorial on it...but you too it one step farther by layering it on the burlap which just makes it AMAZING!!! Genius!!! The knot is a nice touch too :) Hugs...Janie
