The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge - Photo Inspiration

The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge uses the following photo as inspiration.

For my card, I used the tree and leaves images from the Stampin' Up Branch Out stamp set and the sentiment is from the MFP Stamp Shop Glad Glads stamp set.  I used a 5x7 photo pocket insert card base.  I inserted my stamped image into the pocket and then used an ink pad direct to paper to create the wood-grain look on each side of the card base and then stamped a wheat image using versamark ink on all four sides of the "wood-grain."  I created the multi-looped bow using sheer ribbon and added a flower I pulled from a floral stem.

We hope you'll share your projects using the photo as inspiration.  You can find The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge HERE.

I'm entering my card ....

  3. Be still my heart! This card is oh-so-lovely and the "wooden" frame you gave it just makes me think of peering out the country window to stare at my parents' apple trees. Sigh*
