OLCCC #29

The OLCCC #29  (One Layer Christmas Card Challenge) is always anything goes as long as it is Christmas and one layer (card base only) aka CAS (clean and simple)!

For my card, I used Serendipity Stamps image and sentiment from the Steeple stamp set.  The snowflakes are from Technique Tuesday stamp set.  I created a mask and sponged the strip of color using distress ink before stamping the image.

We hope you'll share your one layer Christmas cards with us at the OLCCC.  You can find the challenge HERE.

Gruffies & Guests Challenge - Tags! and House Mouse and Friends Monthly Challenge #216

The Challenge at Gruffies & Guests is to create a tag or project with a tag on it.

For my card, I created a tag card using the MFP Blueprints 9 dies, a doily, and circle dies.  The gingham paper is from my stash.  I embellished using a bow die cut and a small flower from my stash.  The stamp is a House Mouse stamp called Gifts to Tie.  I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens to watercolor the image.

The prize for this challenge is this adorable mini book:

As a reminder, the Gruffies & Guests challenges are always anything goes AS LONG as you use images from House Mouse, Happy Hoppers, or Gruffies.  We hope you'll share your cards/projects with us at the Gruffies & Guests challenge; you can find the challenge HERE.

I'm entering my card in the House Mouse and Friends Monthly Challenge #216 using the anything goes option.  While at the HMFMC#216 check out the details on the blog hop!

MFP Stamps Challenge - CAS with a Rain Theme

The MFP Stamps Challenge theme this week is CAS Rain!

For my card, I used the Rain Clouds stamp set.  I turned the cloud upside down and sat the little frog image on it to resemble a puddle!  The raindrops are from a package of stickers I've had for a long, long time!

We hope you'll share your CAS Rain themed cards/projects with us this week.  You can find the challenge HERE.

Eclectic Ellapu April Challenge - Spring Flowers

This month's Pink Team challenge at Eclectic Ellapu is Spring Flowers.  For my card I used a digi daffodil stamp and printed it on Bristol paper, watercolored the image using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens and an aqua brush.

We hope you'll share your spring flower projects with us this month.  You can find the Pink Team Eclectic Ellapu Challenge HERE.

Altered Eclectics April Challenge

I used a wooden spool to create my altered project this month.  I wrapped ribbons in the center, a lace flower on top with some strings of beads, a beaded stick pin, some die cut butterflies, and then I sat the spool onto a bottle cap that I wrapped with some lace.

Here's a picture of another spool I altered back in November!

These make nice decorative paper weights!

We hope you'll share your altered, mixed media, upcycled, or recycled projects with us at Altered Eclectics.  You can find the challenge HERE.

We hope you'll share your paper pieced projects with us.  The challenge can be found HERE.
