MFP Stamps Challenge #12 - Different Kind of Card Fold

This week's challenge at MFP Stamps blog is to create a different kind of card fold using a Mountain Fold; a tutorial will be posted on the blog for you to try.

For my card, I used the MFP Stamp Shop Flaps My Wattles stamp set.  I used Hero Arts inks to create the colorful images!

We hope you'll share your Mountain Fold cards using the tutorial found on the MFP Stamps Challenge blog.  You can find the challenge HERE.

Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #125 - The Earth Laughs In Flowers!

I got to choose the theme for Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #125!  I chose "The Earth Laughs In Flowers."  Spring is just around the corner and the flowers will begin to bloom soon so let's first make them bloom on our projects!

For my card, I used yellow and white cardstock; used Swiss Dots to emboss the white cardstock panel and added yellow gingham ribbon down the side before adding the die cuts.  The dies are Spellbinders daisy heads with added pearls and another SB leaves die.  The sentiment is from a PTI stamp set.  I nestled a little ladybug button on one of the leaves to embellish.

We hope you'll share your flower cards with us at Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #125.  You can find the challenge HERE.

OLCCC #28 - Anything Christmas One Layer Goes!

It's time for the One Layer Christmas Card Challenge #28!  The OLCCC is always anything Christmas goes as long as it is a one layer card.

For my card, I used white cardstock, and used a circle stencil I created to sponge some ink onto the white cardstock before stamping the image and sentiment.

We hope you'll share your one layer Christmas cards with us.  You can find the OLCCC #28 HERE.

Sparkles Monthly Challenge #78 - Make It Girlie!

The Sparkles Monthly Challenge #78 Make It Girlie theme was chosen by Helen P.

For my card, I used papers and images from the Graphic 45 A Ladies Diary paper pad and embellished it using an old butterfly pin that a friend gave to me recently asking if I thought I could use it in my paper crafting.

We hope you'll share your girlie cards with us this month.  You can find the challenge HERE.

MFP Stamps Challenge Bandana Technique

This week's challenge at MFP Stamps is to use a technique called Bandana Technique!  A link to the technique is on the challenge blog.

For my card, I used the MFP Stamp Shop Butterfly Sayings stamp set.  The multicolored background was created using distress inks.  Images and sentiment were stamped using Archival Black ink and a white gel pen used to create the white dots.

We hope you'll use the Bandana Technique and share your cards with us at the MFP Stamps Challenge.  You can find the challenge HERE.

The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge - Die Cuts and/or Punches

The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge theme is to use die cuts and/or punches on your card/project.

For my card, I used some Designer Paper from my stash for the background.  The basket weave doily was cut from a die from My Favorite Things, the Poppy die cut is from Memory Box, and the butterfly is from a set of Cheery Lynn dies.  The sentiment is from MFT.

We hope you'll share your cards/projects that use die cuts and/or punches with us at The Sisterhood of Crafters.  You can find the challenge HERE.
