The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge is to use a stencil.
For my card, I used the Tim Holtz Layered Scribbles Stencil. I did a direct ink to stencil with pastel pink and green inks then spritzed the stencil with water and layed it onto watercolor paper and smooshed the stencil so the ink would transfer. Heat set after removing the stencil; stamped the sentiment using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. Created a ruffled ribbon flower and layered May Arts leaves under the flower, added a faceted gem to the flower center and adhered the finished flower to the card.
We hope you'll share your stencil cards/projects with us at The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge.
Wow Vickie, this is stunning! I love the rose background. The colors are perfect and then you've added that delightful ruffled flower with the gem in the center... my jaw hit the floor. ;0)
