The Sisterhood of Crafters challenge is to create cards/projects with humor!
For my card, I used a Unity Stamp Company stamp set, The Irony. (Now, can you believe that some youngsters don't know what an iron looks like!! And, can you believe that some "older" youngsters ... middle school/high school age have never heard the words/definition of Irony or Ironic !!)
We hope you'll share your "humorous" cards/projects with us at The Sisterhood of Crafters Humorous Challenge.
OMG how cute! Yes I can believe it ... times have changed so much ... dang I'm feelin' old! LOL Great job my friend! It's 'Ironic' you had this fun stamp for our humorous challenge ... glad you did!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! Irons have gone the way of the typewriter and cassette player. Do you know the opposite of irony. It is wrinkly. Miss you my friend.
ReplyDeleteLove your card, as the irony of it all for me is that at our age of advanced technology, we still haven't found a replacement for it, at least not in Europe. I just taught my 15yr old son to iron, at his request, so unfortunately there's still a need for it here. What has replaced it in the US?
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Vickie! What a fantastic image on your beautifully-designed card!! I love it! You are right about today's children and an iron!
