MFP Simple Salutations Challenge #116 - Things with Wings!

 

The challenge for the next two weeks at Mark's Finest Papers Simple Salutations Challenge is to create a card using the theme "things with wings."

 

For my card I used the MFP Hello Butterflies set; stamped the butterfly using Memento black ink, colored it using Copic markers, then fussy cut it out.  I then layered two coordinating pieces of patterned paper, cut a slit in the top layer and rolled it back to expose the roses.  I then layered the butterfly in a "strategic" position to cover up the little tear in the paper that happened while I was rolling the cut flaps.
