Autumn is my favorite season; I love the rustic colors it brings and tried to capture some of those colors in my Autumn Friendships card. This is the card I created for the MFP September 2013 swap.
Cardstock and patterned paper from my stash; image was stamped onto watercolor paper. Embellished with a doily, button, linen thread, burlap, and a strip of cardstock embossed with an embossing folder. The image, Autumn Friendships from Mark's Finest Papers & Stamps, was colored with Copic markers; I used stormy sky distress ink for the image background. The image panel edges were distressed and highlighted using Viva 3-D walnut brown metallic stamp paint.
Gorgeous card, Vickie! I love the beautiful doily and burlap you used on this card! I am planning on using the same stamp!!! I still don't have mine done. I was hoping to create them today but the dizziness is still there and the mojo wasn't! I am so sorry, Somehow I missed that you are creating for MFP now!!! Welcome to the team (even though it's a little late!)
