Created my first ever pin cushion! I "studied" several different YouTube videos on how to make a pin cushion and combined the details of what I thought I could do to create one! The frame is from the Michaels dollar spot. I removed the back of the frame, took a square of fabric, stuffed it with fiberfill, then hand-basted around the outer edge of the fabric, put a 2 inch square of cardstock inside the fabric over the fill before I pulled it closed. Then hot glued the backside of the fiber-filled fabric to a piece of cardstock then ran a bead of hotglue around the opening of the frame, stuffed the filled-fabric into it, hotglued the cardstock to the back of the frame then used my adhesive gun to adhere the frame stand I had removed from the opening originally. Whew! It took me several tries to get it they way I wanted it, but am pleased with the result. Now, to make 4 more for a tagged textiles swap hosted by stampingooddeeds on SCS!
