Rustic Autumn Wheel
There's a fabulous blog candy challenge going on at www.atjoansgardens.com
Details are on Joan's blog. The challenge is to use a Heartfelt Creations stamp and upload it to your blog or SCS gallery, then link it to the link provided on Joan's blog to be entered. My card is a CAS card (no layers!) using Hearfelt Creations Rustic Autumn Wheel set. I colored it with Kohi-Nor colored pencils and baby oil. The only embellishment is that I sprayed the card front with vanilla smooch to give it a beautiful shimmer.

Framed Flowers
I love creating handmade flowers and what better way to showcase them than in a frame! This is a project I came up with for our demo get together yesterday. The brown flower in the right corner was created using the packing paper that is shipped with orders! Other materials used felt and cardstock, punches, sizzix dies, and freehand spiral cutting! Letters in the center of the frame are painted chipboard them sprayed with shimmer. The mat was stamped with versamark and the flourish from the Elements of Style stamp set. Leaves were made using a circle punch and then sticking the punched circle about 1/3 way back into the punch and punching again..gives a perfect leave shape to crinkle and sponge!

Inspired Crafters Blog Hop
It is so much fun to participate in this blog hop hosted by Inspired Crafters. Inspired Crafters is a blog that was started by a bunch of PTI junkies, and today the feature is Christmas or Winter themed cards using PTI stamps.
You should have arrived from the very talented Michele’s Enchanted Stamper blog!
I used the Holiday Sparkle PTI stamp set to create my "table top ornament decorations." Each decoration was created using the springing card directions found on SCS.
Be sure to visit LauraJean's creative blog next, Bucky Girl.

What I've Been Up To Lately...
September...hey, where did September go anyway?! Can't believe it's October already and fall is in the air!
Here are pics of two cards I've made for swaps the past few weeks! I really enjoy participating in card swaps, but WOWZERS, I can also overwhelm myself with deadlines!
These are two of the cards created for a holiday card swap; I also created a halloween card, Thanksgiving card, and an Easter card. Will post those another day.
Greeting Card Kids is one of my favorite stamp sets. It takes me back to my carefree childhood days!

Halloween In Wonderland!
Love, Love the Graphic 45 Halloween in Wonderland patterned paper! Both card front (at the top of this post) and the inside of the card (pictured above) were created with that paper in mind! Card created for a "ghoulfriend" swap hosted by celestial_stamper on Splitcoaststampers. Fence is a MS punch and the happy halloween sentiment is also a MS stamp.

Joan's Floral Patterned Paper and Punch Challenge
Thank goodness for Joan's challenges! They keep me uploading to my blog at least weekly! Joan's challenges can be found here: http://www.atjoansgardens.com/
This week the challenge is to use floral patterned paper and Martha Stewart corner and border punches. I love the look of black and white and couldn't resist this paper by imaginisce called To Love & Cherish. I've not mastered punching around the whole page so I punched the corners and a border using the traditional eyelet punches. I colored in a few of the flowers on the paper using chalk pastels. The pearl flourish is Zva self adhesive pearls; they kind of get lost in the floral pattern! The butterfly is the Stampin Up Beautiful Wings embosslit. Cardstock is SU Basic Black and Basic Grey; butterfly is Whisper White and layered 4 times and adhered with a dimensional.

Joan's Vintage Challenge
Challenge #2 at http://www.atjoansgardens.com/ is to create a vintage card using patterned paper and nesties. I used Webster Pages 6x6 sheet of patterned paper and the deckle nesties. The sentiment is from the stampin up set called Very Versatile. Lace is from PaperStudio and I darkened it using tea dye distress ink; butterflies are Martha Stewart punches and MS branch punch. The button is from Webster Pages vintage sparkler buttons. A fun card to make using the gorgeous Webster Pages paper. After assembling the card I gave it a dose of Pearl Glimmer Mist all over!
