MFP Oriental Sketch Challenge 66

 

Here is this week's sketch at MFP Oriental Sketch Challenge:

 

 

For my card I used Black cardstock as the card base and the layering panel is Crumb Cake.  I used the MFP Stamp Shop Chinese Take Out stamp set for my card.  I stamped the fortune cookie image on the crumb cake panel using crumb cake ink.  I colored the cookie images using Promarkers.  The images and sentiment were stamped using Memento Rich Cocoa ink.  Other supplies used:  Circle punch, banner die, and Stampin' Up sequins.

Ruby's Rainbow Challenge - Something Green

 

DT member Jennifer challenged us to use something green on our creations over at Ruby's Rainbow Challenge!

 

For my card, I used a yellow card base, then added a green panel that I embossed using a dotted embossing folder.  Added a black panel then a white panel then some October Afternoon DSP.  The image is called Lucky Ducks from Mark's Finest Papers Stamp Shop.  A green twine multi-loop bow with an adhesive pearl embellishes my card.

One Layer Christmas Card Challenge #4 - Anything Goes with an Optional Twist of Bells!

 

The One Layer Christmas Card Challenge is always Anything Goes with an optional twist...the twist for OLCCC #4 is Bells!

 

For my one layer card I used the largest die from the Tonic Gothic Die set to create the border for the stamped image.  The image used is a retired stamp from Stampin' Up.  The image was colored using Copic Markers.

CWWC Challenge - Use real or faux stitching!

 

The challenge at Crafting When We Can is to use real or faux stitching.  Since I can't sew a stitch I opted for faux by using the Lil' Inkers stitched rectangle dies.

 

The image is from challenge sponsor OddBall Art Co. called Breezy with her Kawaii Friends No. 125

 

I used papers and cardstock from my stash.  I created the lace flower by punching out a 1 1/4" circle, coating the circle with adhesive and wrapping lace around the circle and pleating it as I went around.  I then used a cloth covered brad in the center and some May Arts leaves.  A heart stick pin embellishes the fower.  I also used SU heart sequins to embellish the card.  image was colored using Copic markers.

Sparkles Monthly Challenge - Something For the Boys!

 

This month's Sparkles Challenge theme, Something For The Boys, was given to us by DT member Rebecca.

 

For my card, I used the Changito Play Ball from Stampendous.  The star was die cut using a die from Stampin Up.  The circle die cut is from Spellbinders Circle dies.  I embellished my Z-fold card using a baseball sticker in the lower left corner and used printed ribbon for the sentiment on the right side of the card.

MFP Stamp Shop Challenge - Emboss Resist

 

This week's challenge at MFP Stamp Shop Blog is to create a card background using the emboss resist technique.

 

For my card I stamped one of the shells image from the MFP Silly Shells stamp set onto white cardstock using versamark ink.  I then covered the stamped images using white embossing powder then heat set the images.  I used several colors of distress inks to sponge over the images to make them pop.  I stamped the seashells sentiment randomly on the background using Memento black ink.   I used another sentiment from the stamp set to create a banner and embellished it using one of the shells I picked up on one of the Florida beaches I visited recently!
