The Sisterhood of Crafters challenge is to use pink on your card/project. Diane is the hostess for our Pink challenge theme.
For my card, I used pink and white cardstock. The background was die cut using Marianne Designs dies. The image is a digi image from Flourishes Luscious Layers stamp set (retired). I embellished my card with a multi-loop bow.
This week's CAS challenge is to use a sentiment only on your card front. I created the background using torn paper as a mask and brushing Chalk Pan Pastels over the mask. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Big Scripty Greetings stamp set.
The Paper A La Mode Challenge is to create an easel card. The challenge sponsor is QKR Digi Stamps.
For my card I used the Prize Pumpkin digi stamp provided by the sponsor. I printed the image onto smooth Bristol cardstock and watercolored it using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens and an Aqua Brush.
The CAS Challenge this week is Cars! Do you name your car? Let us know how you came up with the name and create a card dedicated to your car!
For my card, I didn't really have a VW bug but I did get my first car in 1967! I don't recall naming it, though. So my "car" dedication is to the 1960s! I used a retired Stampin Up set called Groovy for my card.
We hope you'll share your car cards with us this week. You can find the challenge HERE.
