Sparkles Monthly Challenge - Wedding or Anniversary

The Sparkles Monthly Challenge is to create a wedding or anniversary card or project.

I chose to create an anniversary card that could be used for a 50 year golden anniversary.  Gold sparkle paper used for the layering panel and to die cut the vine and flower.  A cheeryLynn die cut butterfly embellishes the vine and die cut banner.  The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

We hope you'll share your wedding or anniversary cards or projects with us.  You can find the challenge HERE.

Serendipity Stamps Challenge - SSCB#56 Background Stamping

I'm entering my card in this month's Serendipity Stamps Challenge to do some background stamping.

For my card, I "stamped" distress inks onto an acrylic block and then "smooshed" the inked and water spritzed block onto the smooth side of Ranger Watercolor paper; once it dried I used the Serendipity Stamps Live Each Season stamp set to stamp the image and sentiment.  I also inked up the top of the dandelion stamp and randomly stamped on the image layer.  Dotted some crystal stickles on the head of the dandelion flower and embellished the panel with some adhesive pearls.

MFP Stamp Shop Challenge - CAS Beach Theme

This week's MFP Stamp Shop Challenge is to create a CAS Beach themed card/project.

For my card, I used Kraft cardstock, stamped the image from Island Life stamp set using Memento Black ink.  I wanted to try a technique I recently saw on Pinterest to give an image the look of a pencil sketch.  I used White and different shades of Gray colored pencils to create the affect.

We hope you'll share your Beach themed CAS cards with us this week.  You can find the challenge HERE.
