MFP Stamp Shop Blog Challenge - Create a Flower Pot Card

This week's challenge at MFP Stamp Shop Blog is to create a flower pot card!  The blog has a link to the fun tutorial to help you create your flower pot!

For my card, I used the MFP Stamp Shop Coneflowers stamp set.  The flowers were stamped on smooth white cardstock and colored using Akashiya Sai Watercolor Brush Pens.  The flowers were fussy cut using the Brother Scan N Cut machine.

We hope you'll share your flower pot card with us at MFP Stamp Shop Blog Challenge this week.  You can find the challenge HERE.

Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #99 - Anything But a Card

DT member Valou has challenged us to create anything but a card over at Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #99.

For my project, I started with an embroidery hoop.  The paper between the hoop frame is a thin, lacy fiber paper.  I used a large paper doily on the back of the hoop.  The front was embellished using a handmade ruffled flower, MayArts fabric leaves, pink ribbon bow, and a pink flourish gem.  I then adhered the altered hoop onto a small easel.

We would love to see your "anything but a card" projects entered at Ruby's Rainbow Challenge.  You can find the challenge HERE.

Coffee Lovers Sprng Blog Hop

Coffee, Coffee, Coffee!  You are my friend now and forever!
Yes, I really do enjoy several cups of yummy coffee every morning, flavored coffee especially!  This morning it was DD Coconut Flavored coffee!  YUM!

My coffee project includes 3 4x4 notecards and a box to hold the cards.  I used MFP Stamp Shop Java Time and Oh Beans! stamp sets.  Embellishments and paper from my stash.  Doilies are from PaperStudio.  The base for each notecard was created using large index cards.  The notecard box was created using a mini pizza box tutorial found on Splitcoaststampers.

I'm entering my project in the Coffee Lovers Spring Blog Hop.

Altered Eclectics March Challenge

The monthly Altered Eclectics challenges are the perfect way to showcase your altered art, mixed media, recycled, and upcycled projects!

For my altered project, I found a clock on sale at the supermarket where I go for groceries and I knew it had potential!  My husband removed the clock face, battery pack, and glass front for me.  So, then sea shells by the sea shore...my find on my recent vacation to Florida, collecting the shells was super fun and I knew right away those shells were going to fit perfectly into the clock!  A piece of fish net, the shells, some long green leaf stems from a floral branch, some patterned paper for the back of the clock, a feathered flower, some knotted hemp, a metal dragonfly embellishment, along with a spray of gems were used to embellish my clock.

You can enter your altered art in the Altered Eclectics Challenge found HERE.
