Craft Your Passion is being sponsored by Daydream Designs - Use Something that Begins with "B"

For my card I used the Daydream Designs In Love With Fall color digital stamp and sentiment.  The "B" on my card is bale of hay and birds!

I kept my card CAS with this beautiful image and used a Spellbinders Die to cut the decorative border.

To play along with the Craft Your Passion Challenge you will find it HERE.

CWWC Challenge - Use Your Markers!

The CWWC Challenge is to use your markers!  The sponsor for this challenge is Sassy Studio Designs.  The image for my card is Sassy Designs Sock Hop Sweetie.

I created a side step card using sock hop as the theme!  Embellishments are from my stash; the music note was cut from a cheery lynn die, also used the SU word bubble die for the sentiment.  The record is from a smoosh book embellishment pack.  I colored the image using Copic markers.

We hope you'll play along with the "use your markers" CWWC challenge; you can find the challenge HERE.

JessicaLynnOriginal.com Brentwood Owl is Ready to Surf!

If you aren't familiar with the Brentwood Owl stamps at JessicaLynnOriginal.com online store, please visit and prepare to fall in LOVE with this adorable stamp collection.

For my card I used the Surfer Owl Dude stamp.  We are in for some very cold weather coming soon and so I thought a trip to a warmer climate would be fun!  I colored the image using Copic markers, the cardstock and papers are from my stash along with the palm tree 3D sticker.  For the sand hill I used a PTI border die and sponged the edges for contrast.

Word Art Wednesday Challenge

Diane's Daydream Designs is a sponsor for Word Art Wednesday!  As a Design Team member of Daydream Designs I am very fortunate to participate in the Word Art Wednesday Challenge.

For my card, I used a sentiment from the Give Thanks to the Lord stamp set.  The background paper is from Daydream Designs Hedgehog Fall Frolics.  I embossed the background paper using a PaperStudio Leaves embossing folder.  I embellished my card using a bow and enamel dot in the center.

Altered Eclectics Anything Goes Challenge as Long as It's Altered Art!

This is my DT project for the month of November Altered Eclectics Challenge.

I altered dollar store clothespins to create these gorgeous (if I don't say so myself!) pins.  I embellished the clothespins using items I've had on hand for quite a while!  You may ask what one would use these for?  One thing I use them as gift bag closures.  I fasten it to the bag and also can use it to hold the gift card in place on the bag.  These could have a strip of magnet put on the backside and placed on your refrigerator door to hold notes etc.  Also can be used as embellishments on scrapbook pages, on cards, on tags.  Lots of possibilities!

Here's another look at the pins:

We hope you'll play along with the November Altered Eclectics Challenge.  The challenge is anything goes as long as it is altered art...no tags, no cards, no scrapbook pages!

MFP Oriental Sketch Challenge #57

The MFP Oriental Sketch Challenge at Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co., uses this sketch:

For my card, I used the MFP Nature's Brushstrokes stamp set.  I created a background for the image by brayering 2 colors of 3D Stamp-Paint onto white cardstock, letting it dry and then using white craft ink to stamp the image, sprinkle it with white detail embossing powder and heat setting it.  The background papers are from my stash.

We hope you'll play along with the MFP Oriental Sketch Challenge 57.  If you do, you'll be entered to win a stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers.  You'll find the challenge and details HERE.
