Life's A Beach!

February is here and I have a few cards to post!

DKOS stands for "different kind of swap" over in the swap forum on SCS.
Another DKOS card. Make a get well card using bright colors! The sentiment is a Studio G dollar stamp! Used the new SU scallop border punch on the tag.
It's February! Time for another blog update. I'll try for once a month and hope to do more!

This card was made for a DKOS swap on SCS. Use a non-traditional Christmas image to make a Christmas card. Christmas sitting on a beach somewhere, enjoying the sun and surf...sounds like Having Myself a Merry Little Christmas if you ask me!

Halloween in January! hehehe I like the flourishy look of this little witch and her broom! I think I titled the card, "if the broom fits, ride it!" The pumpkin faces are a Martha Stewart border punch. Happy Halloween! (I have a lot of catching up to do!)

Welcome to the Jungle!

I found this colorful Jolees 3D sticker awhile back; created this card for another Secret Sister who has a Parrot.

A little project I made after visiting my daughters in Texas this past summer. I found the Texas stamp at Hobby Lobby a couple years ago and knew I'd come up with an idea for its use sooner or later! Image was colored using Copic Markers. The recipes inside the chipboard covers are postcards with Texas recipes on them. I sent this ensamble to my Secret Sister.

It's About Time...

Yes, it's about time in more ways than one! It's been almost a year since I posted, so it's about time I do so! It's also a time factor....just can't seem to find time to keep up with everything! Again, I'm making a promise to myself to take time to do the things I enjoy, and keeping my blog updated is one of those things!

Here's an update on family ~ my grandson Delt is now a year old; his mommy, my daughter Jenni had a hysterectomy this past fall and is doing very well; the cancer had not spread so no chemo or radiation.

I've come to accept my mastectomy; more importantly, I'm alive and well and it's always one day at a time for all of us! And, yes, I'm still on the fringe of discovery and adventure! What a life and I'm going to make the most of it!
