House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge #271 - Christmas in July

The HMFMC #271 is anything goes with the optional theme of Christmas in July!

For my card, I used the Happy Hoppers Carrot Tree woodblock stamp.  Image was stamped using Memento Black ink and the sentiment was stamped using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink (sentiment stamp is from a retired MFP set).  Image colored using Chameleon markers.  Added some wink of stella to the carrots.  Designer papers, cardstock, bow, and sequins are from my stash.  Circle and rectangle die cuts are from Cheapo dies.

The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge - Summer Vacation

The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge is "summer vacation."

For me, the perfect summer vacation would be relaxing near the ocean, listening to the waves!  So relaxing!  For my card, I used a prescored "pop-up box card" fold from The Paper Cut.  I embellished my beach themed card using lots of 3D stickers and a metal anchor charm.

The PIP Challenge #1829

This week's PIP Challenge#1829 is sponsored by Polkadoodles.  For my card I used Winnie's Wonderland Hat digi image.

I colored the image using PrismaColor markers.  The background paper is from my stash.  The sentiment was on my craft desk so I plopped it on the card...have no idea where it came from!

For my card, I used the July 2018 Owlie Wishes Sentiment Kit

I watercolored the image using Distress Inks and an aquabrush.  AND, I stamped the image and sentiment using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink!  Love the crisp outline and so happy that this ink can be used with watercolor!

My card is on the Cheapo Dies blog today.  I used the Rocking Horse die to create this cute card in pink!

The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge

The challenge at The Sisterhood of Crafters is to use your favorite color.  For me, my favorite color is pink!

I used the Altenew Peony Bouquet stamp set and the sentiment is from the Altenew Smile More stamp set.  I inked the stamps from the Peony Bouquet set using distress inks and then spritzing with water before stamping onto watercolor paper.  I used a waterbrush to help spread the ink around the stamped image.  Once dry, I stamped the sentiment using Archival Black ink.  Embellishments are small pink nail art gems.

For my card I used the Gruffies Hammock Hibernation wood block stamp.  The sentiment is from Penny Black Happy Snippets.  Image was stamped using Archival black ink onto Bristol Vellum textured cardstock and watercolored using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens and aqua brush.

House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge #269 Back to School

The House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge #269 is anything goes with an optional theme of Back to School.  I chose to create a back to school card!

I used the Stampendous School Mice wood block stamp.  I stamped the image onto watercolor paper and used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and an aquabrush to color the image.  The sentiments are from MFP.  Cardstock is from my stash and the lined paper background is from PaperStudio.  The cardstock panels were punched using a spiral bound border punch.  The embellishment is a small binder clip.
