HMFMC #258 - Guest Designer!

Oh My Goodness!  What an honor to be a guest designer for House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenges for the January, February, and March challenges!  I do love House Mouse, Happy Hoppers, and Gruffies stamps, so being a guest designer is like a dream come true!  :)

HMFMC #258 theme is anything goes with an optional challenge theme of LOVE!  I chose to create using the LOVE theme.

For my card, I used the Read my Lips House Mouse wood block rubber stamp.  This stamp features Amanda and Mudpie!  To create my card I used a 5 1/2 inch square cardbase, layered a panel of pink cardstock, the next layer is created using two patterns of designer paper, then a doily, a border of lace and the stamped image layered over the doily; image colored using Chameleon Markers.  Embellishments are some florals and leaves from my stash.  To complete the LOVE theme I used the Love die cut from PaperSmooches.

We hope you'll share your House Mouse, Gruffies, or Happy Hoppers cards with us at the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge #258 found HERE.

PIP Challenge #1803 - Anything Goes!

This week's PIP Challenge is sponsored by Sasayaki Glitter.  For my card, I used the Love Mice digi image provided by the challenge sponsor.

A very easy card to create using white cardbase, red layering panel, a heart doily, a strip of cardstock covered with a piece of lace.  The bow was created using cardstock and the SU bow maker punch.  A "candy heart" brad was used to embellish.

We hope you'll play along with this week's PIP Challenge!

The Outlawz CAS Challenge - Use Something New!

The Outlawz CAS Challenge is to use something new to create your CAS card.

For my card, I used the Modern Cheers die from Frantic Stamper that is a new to me die.  I used the die to cut in the center of the cardbase and used Copic Markers to color each letter before inlaying them into the negative space.  Added some Nuvo Drops (also new to me) to embellish around the die cut word.

We hope you'll use something new to you and create a CAS card and share it with us at this week's CAS Challenge.

CAS Snowy Park

I created this card for the Monday SCS CAS Challenge #462 using the Penny Black Snowy Park stamp and Penny Black Happy Snippets sentiment.  The image was stamped using Walnut Stain Distress Ink, sentiment stamped using Archival Black ink onto a Fabriano Medioevalis Notecard.  Since the challenge was to give the project a "chilled" look I used a 2 way glue pen and dazzling diamond glitter to include a bit of chilly, sparkley snow on the card!  THEN, to my surprise, my card was included as a CAS 2017 annual favorite!
