The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge - Summer Heat!

The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge is to create a "Summer Heat" project....colors and/or theme!  And, this is my first time to host a challenge at the Sisterhood!

For my card, to me, flip-flops are definitely summer gear!  I used a real flip flop to embellish the front of my mini album!  Lots of ribbon, a rosette, some chipboard flip flops and some bright green and orange cardstock!

Here's the open view:

Lots of summer-time die cuts embellishments carry the Summer Heat theme along with the sentiments from the MFP Stamp Shop Island Life stamp set - Cool Breeze and The Beach Life!  The seagulls and fence are IO die cuts and the flamingo is a die from Pretty Pink Posh.

We hope you'll share your Summer Heat projects with us over at The Sisterhood of Crafters.  The challenge can be found HERE.

I'm entering my card in
