Let's get started !!
Here's the Design Team

This is the project created using today's tutorial

Supplies:
Paper Cutter
2 Sheets of your favorite Holiday Patterned Paper (12 x 12)
Red and White cardstock
Spellbinders Circle and Scallop Circle dies
Holiday Stamps – I used images from MFP Stamp Shop Dear Santa and Holiday Tag sets
Adhesive
Individual Microwave Popcorn package
Ink and favorite coloring medium

Cut one sheet of the pattern paper to 6 x 12 inches (this will be the wrap)

Cut the other complimentary sheet of patterned paper to 3 x 10 inches (this will be the band)

Place the 6 x 12 piece facedown and lay the popcorn package in the center of it and wrap both ends of the paper around the popcorn pack and adhere, making sure it is a little loose so that the popcorn pack can easily be inserted and removed

Place the 3 x 10 piece of paper facedown and lay the seam side of the wrapped packet in the center and wrap around, keeping it loose and secure/adhere the ends together in the center

Using white cardstock stamp and color your image and die cut using the circle die
Die cut a red scallop to layer the image onto
Stamp the sentiment onto white cardstock and die cut using a smaller circle die
Die cut a small scallop to layer the sentiment onto

Refer to finished project picture for placement

Enjoy the Hop. Come back each day for more Christmas fun. We hope to inspire you to start your Christmas cards and projects.  Get to work on the tutorials, show us what you made and check back on August 15 to see if you are a winner.

  1. This would make a great teacher gift -- one that your child could easily construct and say "I made it myself." And yet, not so juvenile that an adult could enjoy making it too.
