Faux Tearing Simple Salutations Challenge at Mark's Finest Papers

This week's Simple Salutations Challenge at Mark's Finest Papers & Stamps, a Heinrich Co., is Faux Tearing/Masking.  The challenge can be found here.  If you're not familiar with this technique, be sure to check out the tutorial section on the SpeedyTV site.

I used torn paper copy paper as a mask on my cardstock then used jumbo daubers with distress inks to create the look of the inked torn paper stripe.  I then stamped an image from the Be Virtuous stamp set over the faux torn paper.  The sentiment is also from the Be Virtuous set which is part of the new release for July.  An EK Success border punch used on the bottom of the stamped panel and a strip of red cardstock layered behind the punched border.
